I am Darryl. I began wearing fine fragrance at twelve, then spent a decade learning to build the kind of scents I could no longer find. The work is craft, patience, and precision.
A. Alchemy
My background is aerospace engineering, with a love for nature, chemistry, and ancient spiritual traditions. In perfumery, that becomes a disciplined blend of structure and symbolism.

Every bottle is meant to feel like a personal object. A signature you can wear. A mood you can return to. A quiet effect that stays with you.
The story behind the house
I grew up in the Mississippi Delta. My mother was a beautician, and fragrance was part of how she helped people feel beautiful, seen, and restored. That early imprint never left me.
The turning point+
Over time, it became harder to find the style of fragrance I loved. So I made a decision: learn the craft deeply enough that my favorite feeling would never be discontinued again. That decision became the start of Dragon Perfumes.
Training and travel+
I spent ten years studying and practicing, traveling across the United States and abroad to Spain and Italy. I studied with the Natural Perfumers Guild in the United States and the Perfumery School in the United Kingdom. The goal was simple: make luxury that feels intentional on skin.
Rare ingredients, real choices+
I learned how to source rare, highly sought after natural ingredients and specialty materials. That sourcing shapes everything. It is why the scents have depth, and why certain releases are limited.
Hand drawn labels and symbolism+
Dragon Perfumes is wrapped in symbolic packaging because the experience is meant to be more than smell. Even the labels are hand drawn, literally works of art. The bottle becomes a marker of who you are, and what you are choosing in this season.
Limited release and vintage philosophy+
Every fragrance is a limited release. Formulas are added and retired based on ingredient availability, and I revise blends periodically. If you sample something you love, move when it feels right. That exact version is meant to be a moment in time.
